Free Art Felega 1

As a result of the developments in the globalized world, the unknown is being discovered and sought after, while a look at the international art market shows new opportunities for local actors and institutions in Ethiopia. This is exactly where the local artists of Ethiopia should reinvent and reposition themselves, sometimes take an unfamiliar position and constantly develop themselves and their work. At the same time, however, it was important to follow one's own artistic line in order not to disappear into arbitrariness - the sharpening of artistic identity formed the foundation here. With the first project "Free Art Felega I", the intercultural exchange between Ethiopian artists and German partners offered an ideal opportunity to create an infrastructure that allowed the development of one's own work on the concept of free art.
